I have used bundled software sites in the past to purchase older versions of software that I want to try out but if I am sure of what I want to buy, I normally go for the latest version. I can see myself buying the new versions via the Mac App Store, as well as retail outlets and other online stores such as Amazon.com, while still looking for bargains at the bundled sites. I think there is plenty of room for sites that bundle software to work alongside the Mac App Store, but what are your thoughts?&nbsp;</p>

I check the various "bundle" sites very regularly, and have found some great bargains. With three or four Macs, buying "retail" for multiple computers can get expensive. At (often) $49, hard to beat. I do hope to see more "freeware" available in a Mac App Store, but with some sleuthing, bargains can be found today at sites like VersionTracker and MacUpdate.

I visit http://osx.iusethis.com like an app store to check out what's new or to search for specific apps. There is a lot of freeware in there, reviews and you can see how many (iusethis) users are using the app. Here's hoping the Mac Store adds to this experience.

Side note...when I forst switched over to a mac...I was like a kid in a candy store with all of the bundles and new apps available. Have I just become jaded or are there no really good and exciting apps being released these days?
