This looks like a nice way to update one's collection of DVDs at a reasonable cost. If only they made this the regular price!

I wonder what the motivation is behind this. Are they trying to kill DVDs and switch completely to Blu-Ray? The price of Blu-Ray players have come down. Not quite to the $30-50 range that we now see DVD players, but I have seen them on sale for just over a C-bill.
