The two companies will not introduce any new co-branded handset models going forward, but will continue to sell and support models that have already been introduced to the market."</em></p><p>That's corporate speak for: We haven't sold many units, and we're better off on our own. Although the Nuvi phones issued under the alliance will continue to get after-sales support from both companies, it looks like the co-branded version of the line has reached a dead end. Hence forth, the relationship between the two companies is no closer than any other hook-up Garmin has.
