It's amazing how people twist and conflate pieces of information. Anyway, if you're an OS X user and you want a simple way to get music, photos, and videos onto your Windows Phone 7 - the reviewer doesn't say whether it also works with the Zune...I'd like to think it does given the platform similarities, but I can't say for sure. The beta comes out October 24th, at which point I'll take it for a spin myself and see what works and what doesn't. What I don't understand is why Microsoft is being so coy about this - it's a pretty significant move!</p>

It's so good to see Microsoft doing this, after not providing anything for the Zune itself. Much better than paying $39 to MarkSpace for their software (and no doubt they WILL develop software for Windows Phone 7 that will add more synch options). I believe almost all the major Mac sites have carried this news and I hope this gamble pays off will enough for MS that they'll continue to refine and improve the software. Heck, even Android doesn't have a native sync client for Macs (DoubleTwist is 3rd party).
