Should TV Networks be worried about this trend? Can the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad apps take away TV viewership? Let's take a look at some stats from Flurry's report."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1286888146.usr105634.jpg" /></p><p>19 million people use their apps on their iPhone at least 22 minutes a day, which, according to this report by <a href="http://redirectingat.com/?id=3172X601219&amp;xs=1&amp;url=http://blog.flurry.com/bid/48156/Is-iPhone-the-next-American-Idol&amp;sref=http://www.appletell.com/apple/comment/ios-apps-affecting-tv-primetime-viewership-in-the-us/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+appletell+Appletell" target="_blank">Flurry</a>, is right up there with most of the TV viewership for all programs except for American Idol. Interesting comparison, but I don't think this will replace TV. People love their favorite TV programs so they will always watch them. But I think the usage will go up, but in conjunction to the TV not as a replacement. What are your thoughts? How has, or hasn't your viewership of TV changed over the years?</p>
