Zune Gadget
I like the little minimize to a small, black, rectangular remote thing that the Zune software does. I look at it and think "Hey, it looks like it belongs on my Vista Gadget bar." And I can drop it over the bar and it just floats there happlily.
What I guess I'm not too surprised didn't happen is that Microsoft hasn't put out a Zune gadget. Is the software even extensible like that? We've seen or heard of iTunes widgets or the like.
What are our chances of some Zune development in this area? 10%? 25%?
I think the longer the Zune is out and it's dumbed down for the new user and they don't support PlaysforSure and don't allow all this stuff they don't allow, the more they'll have to open it up for it to survive.
