Hi Jason;

I found your unboxing video while trying to source a dv2-1199us here in Calgary. I'm fairly certain that HP never did offer a dual-core neo in the Canadian models and the Canadian website is sadly lacking in anything resembling an option to customize your laptop order. Even worse, while trying to source a dv2 with a neo x2 and the HD3410 graphics, I realized the Futureshop/BestBuy, Source and Staples stores only offer the low-end models you can find on the canadian HP website, as the new DM3z 13 inch unit shows.

Yes you can actually get a neo x2 in these models but sadly are limited to the ATI 3200 graphics. The DM3t 1040us model is even worse with the intel 4500 igp but I haven't seen any of those in the wild yet. One thing with the DM3t is as a us model, if you do find one in Canada, it might actually ship with an english keyboard instead of that craptacular bi-lingual monstrosity all of the 'ca' designated models ship with now.

Anyway, I do have a point to make, as you did an unboxing on a dv2-1199us model here in Calgary, is there any way you might be able to source one of these units from your industry contacts?

Thanks much!
