I'm organizing a conference for mobile developers with O'Reilly. Our company (360|Conferences) organizes 360|Flex and 360|iDev, and we've partnered to organize InsideMobile.
The goal of InsideMobile is to bring together developers from various platforms to talk about mobile development issues. Problems that aren't platform specific; video on mobile devices, location services, etc.
It's a two day event (July 26-27) with the first day being hands on training. Interested in Symbian? Spend a half day seeing what's it's all about. Etc. The second day is multi track info overload
The call for papers is still open (http://www.insidemobilecon.com/2009/...papersnowopen/
) and if any of you would be interesting in presenting we'd love to have you! We're still securing speakers, but as we do, we'll be posting topics on the site (insidemobilecon.com)
Our events aren't salesy, those suck
you're not going to see a session that's all powerpoint, and only says why you should buy some third party tool. Our speakers are all coders, and sessions are as much or more code than slide.
If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask! The registration link is on the site if you're interested.
