My current speakers came with a Gateway in '98! Yes, I do know what I'm missing and would love to experience the Audioengine A5+ first hand.

Nothing vs. AudioEngine speakers.... I'm sensing a clear winner here. lol

This beats my Sennheiser PC350 headphones by a long shot.

I would set these up with my PC rig, so that I could hear audio without the earmuffs.

Talking Laptop speakers leave alot to be desired

I currently use laptop speakers, even when playing games. The sound from them, while better than some, still are not so great. So, I would use the A5+ speakers with my laptop for some awesome gaming and music sessions.

I installed 2 in the ceiling speakers in our living room when we first bought our house, but the stereo is in the basement, so we never use those.
Then, the stereo in the basement has 2 big speakers, but, since it is in the basement, that our son has taken over, we don't use those either.
So, we listen to videos with the computer built in speakers, and once in a while, when the audio is too low, I have a small single wired speaker to plug in to the laptop.
That is about it

My current home computer speakers don't work so this would be a huge improvement!

I'm currently using a 2.1 set made by Altec Lansing. Not bad, but definitely not as high-quality as the Audioengine.

Either the ones built into the laptop or some cheap ones that came with my wife's desktop years ago.
