This is pretty good. Now if only the 512MB SD Cards could even jump down a little to $250. $150 to $200 would be ideal for the 512MB SD Cards but I have a feeling that that won't be happening until the 1GB SD Cards hit the shelves later this year.

Bit of a touchy issue this one. Whilst there have been quite a few complains about Sandisk and the Toshiba PDAs, a lot of people (myself included) have had no problem with them. Suppose it is a gamble if you get one, but they have been known to work
Mind you, I do have issues with the "designed for palm" on the packaging 8O
I have had a problem with the 128MB SD card and my Toshiba. After a couple months of use the card just completly died. Good thing SanDisk has a 5 year warranty. After a couple days of trading email and sending in my card they replaced my card with two 64MB cards.

If you have a Tosiba don't get a 128 SD card. Better to be safe than sorry.

Default 512 MB CF Prices

By the way, that link showed me the best price was $115 at CompuPlus.

P.S. My usual rant. :-) Please don't post long links "naked". The board software doesn't wrap them, and it resets the margins for the whole page, forcing horizontal scrolling. Use the URL tags, like this:

Code:
[url=http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=445143/search=CF%2520Cards/ut=43533ac2e1b19f3c]
PriceGrabber CF Prices

The above looks like the following when posted:

PriceGrabber CF Prices

See how much nicer that is? :-)

And, hey, you could even use the front-page Pricegrabber search box to look for things - Pocket PC Thoughts gets a few cents every time you click on a link to look at a product on the vendors site (the very last step).

None of these companies seems to ship to Canada - and if they do - their shipping and handling charges are way to high!

Ends up being about the same as State Street Direct...

Compu U Plus: $69.95 + 14.95 S&H = $84.90
State Street Direct: $79.95 + 5.84 S&H = $85.79

Mind you, the $5.84 is for 7 business day delivery, whereas the $14.95 is not that long...

the neutronusa offer was 70 for the 256mb sd card PLUS the USB reader (Cruzer)

the 256mb sd card alone is only 50 (30 rebate) and their shipping was as low as 6.

Sigh, insert my usual cry about living in the UK. I have emailed some of these retailers asking about shipping to here - no dice. I'm afraid I am not willing to emigrate, just to get (much) cheeper IT goodies :? (Yet).
