Default Mobile Apps Take up 50% of Mobile Data Volume

http://www.cultofmac.com/study-find...bandwidth/59966

"What Zokem found was that while a smartphone's mobile browser - Safari, in the case of the iPhone - is still the biggest bandwidth hog on most smartphones, apps are now taking up 50% of mobile data volume. Predictably, the most popular apps across all smartphones are Facebook and Twitter."

I spend little time in Safari on my iPhone. I'm almost always using one of the news apps I have, or Instapaper. About the only time I pull up the browser is when I want to share an article, and the app I'm currently using doesn't have that option (which is pretty rare now), or when I'm doing a Google search. If I'm using a site that requires a login, I use the browser in the Lastpass app. How often do you use Mobile Safari?
