Default Screen Protector Bargain for Tilt 2 (Touch Pro 2)

The (US) AT&T web store is selling a package of 3 Screen Protectors for the HTC Tilt 2 for only $5 / package, with Free Shipping - via FedEx - included.

We placed an order on Saturday afternoon, for 2 sets, and have already received shipping confirmation & a FedEx tracking number, showing expected delivery as Nov 3. Hard to argue against the price or service; hopefully the protectors will be as good as the ones that shipped with the Tilt 2s!

...............

After almost 2 months of ownership, we are very happy with our AT&T Tilt 2 (HTC Touch Pro 2) Windows Mobile phones (we have two - if only because of what amounted to a buy-one-get-one-free offer from HTC!).

These phones shipped with generic screen protectors, which have held up quite well - especially given that the protector is open to the world on both phones (this is the first PDA I have owned for which I did not receive - or immediately purchase - a full-cover case of some sort).

Still, late last week I noticed that a faint outline of the main FITALY key locations has started to form on the protector, which also has a faint - but long - vertical scratch on it. And while these are only visible from certain angles, with the screen off (they remain completely invisible when the unit is on), it was a reminder to look around for replacements.

I take extensive notes using FITALY, and so usually wear out that portion of a screen protector quicker than any other. My wife uses the physical keyboard for most of her text input, and her screen protector remains nearly flawless - at least, once the finger prints are cleaned off!

A bit of a risk to order so many protectors on the ASSUMPTION that they are at least equal to the ones provided with the units, but the one that shipped with my Fuze was also decent, and a quick survey did not reveal any screaming bargains on screen protectors for the Touch Pro 2....
