It doesn't - it uses a standard LCD. But it's a BIG LCD. I don't know if the reviewer has used an HD2 or not, but when you've got a phone with a screen that big, and a CPU that powerful, you're going to be recharging it every 1-1.5 days. It's just the way things are.
Doesnt help that HTC included the same inadequate battery as they did with the HD2. Rather than try and improve the battery performance they just stuck an HD2 in a different case and called it the HD7. I still wonder why this company is held in such high regard...
