Default Windows Phone 7 Milestone

http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_...-milestone.aspx

"Starting today, thousands of prototype phones from Asus, LG and Samsung are making their way into the hands of developers over the next few weeks. Combine that with the beta release of the Windows Phone developer tools, and I can't wait to see how our developer partners take advantage of our new approach to smart design and integrated mobile experiences. I'm personally working on a flash card app for my daughter, and am consistently amazed by the ease with which Silverlight and Visual Studio make WP7 apps possible."

Today the deluge of previews for Windows Phone 7 hit the web and along with it came Microsoft's official statement. After daily use by over 1000 employees at Microsoft, the software has been deemed ready for use by developers and partners around the world. Hopefully this period of time before the final RTM will be used to add some of those features that blogs have been slamming Microsoft for overlooking. Although there is probably no way that features such as copy-and-paste and multi-tasking will be available in the first release, I'm sure that Microsoft developers will take some of the community feedback to heart. The release could not come soon enough!
