Default Three Zune HD Cases Reviewed

In this video, I take a look at three Zune HD cases. One from Incipio, The Underground (price unknown right now), and two from DLO: the Jam Jacket Cordsaver ($19.99) and the Action Jacket ($29.99).

Jason Dunn owns and operates Thoughts Media Inc., a company dedicated to creating the best in online communities. He enjoys photography, mobile devices, blogging, digital media content creation/editing, and pretty much all technology. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his lovely wife, and his sometimes obedient dog. He wonders if the Zune is ever going to exist outside the USA.

Nice review. Can't say I'm overly impressed with any of them, but I'm leaning towards the second one (assuming I take the plunge and buy a Zune HD).

Do you know of any screen protectors for the Zune HD available yet? My favorite source for screen protectors doesn't seem to have any for the Zune HD. I can't imagine using a touch device like this and risking damaging such a nice screen.

Hey Jason-
Thanks for the reviews, very well done. I'm curious about that third case. If you could please re-attach the clip thingy and see how that feels slid onto the armband. Is it comfortable? Does it feel like it would stay attached during vigorous activity? Does the ZHD swivel around a lot on that clip?

Thanks again!

The clip is for wearing it on your waist/belt - you use the strap on your arm. You can't combine the two as far as I know...

Looks like you've got more reviewing to do. Incipio has 3 new cases on their site now.

Case reviews can be pretty boooooring, so they're not exactly the kind of thing I really pursue. Unless it's an exceptional case from Vaja or something.

Default Battery Killer?

The Incipio appears to keep the front button depressed, or at least activate it often enough to affect the battery life of the device....

Each time the ZuneHD was removed in the video the screen was activated.
