Default Your Favourite Zune Colour?

Simple post. Which of the three Zune colours do you prefer? Note the existence of the colour trim around the edge of the device (green with brown, blue with black, and black with white). Personally, I still haven't decided between black and white. As for the brown, well, that's a little out of my league. ;-)

Black Zune with blue colour trim [click here for a high-resolution version].

White Zune with black colour trim [click here for a high-resolution version].

I dig the black with the blue trim - looks slick! I would have liked to see a forest green Zune, or maybe a deep red Zune...something other than brown.

I can't help it. I'm always partial to black.

Black with blue trim? I guess that's the best one of the bunch.
Brown's a nice touch, just not my style (they should have one in avocado too ).
White's OK, if you don't mind people thinking that your player ripped off Apple. Or that you stole it from a Stormtrooper...

I would like charcoal with black trim, please.

Default Where's My Paris Hilton, Jewel-Encrusted Pink?

I think this is a pretty good color selection here. I like that brown has been included because it shirks the yuppie-go-lucky, static vibrancy of the current dominating mp3 players on the market. I'd probably pick the black with blue trim, if I had to decide today.

I could totally go for a rich red Zune, but the green would have to be the RIGHT green - I would prefer something like a forest green more than grass green.

But I would probably most prefer an Ocean blue - not navy, not light, not robin's egg.

Given that none of those are options, I would probably stick with white.....

I could either go for the black one, or depending on what it looks like in person, the brown one. If they had an orange one I'd dig that but with the choices there are now, the brown w/ green trim could actually look really sweet.

Forget white. I never understood the obsession Mac-heads had with that.

If they had one in the off-white that coats the Xbox 360, I think I'd dig it.

Edit: Now here's an idea: changeable faceplates.

Ask the guys who designed it, and then the guys who approved it. They're the ones with the sterile white THX-1138 complex. The consumers didn't have a choice until the limited U2 edition came out. Then Apple realized people want them in black too. Now it almost looks like they're phasing out the white ones...

Heheh, glad to see that Apple designs remind others of THX-1138 too. I do like the color of the 360 but mostly because it makes it easy to put faceplates on it. If you have colored cases not all faceplates look as good.

Yes, a Zune with faceplates! That would rock.
