"Fun Little Movies is launching its newest outlet with SmartVideo Technologies, Inc. Fun Little Movies (FLM) joins a robust lineup of entertainment, news, sports, weather, children's and family channels that have put SmartVideo at the forefront of the mobile television revolution. ...With more than 50 million smartphones in use today that can play mobile content - a figure estimated to rise to 250 million by 2008 - creators are starting to produce content aimed directly at smartphones and smart PDAs. FLM is among the most creative, winning recognition for its original live-action comedies that are just a few minutes long yet boast strong storytelling and top-notch talent in front of and behind the cameras. Titles that will be available on SmartVideo's FLM channel include "Spacey Movie," the classic Sci-Fi parody; "Love Bytes," a comedy about 21st century dating that's so cool, it can actually get you a date; and the "Mini Bikers," where little guys on little motorcycles fight crime ... a little at a time. Also available are the kids' comedy "Gagsters," which premieres on the Oxygen network this fall, and hilarious shorts from the makers of PuppetGreetings.com."

It seems that everyone is trying to be your primary source for content on your device. Almost every week we're seeing an announcement about a new music, video, or TV mobile content provider. The best part is that they all seem to be supporting Windows Mobile devices. It's a great sign that the industry understands the power of Windows Mobile, and that it's not a market that Microsoft is going to back away from. If you're interested in watching some fun and little movies then check out the trailers and samples available at Fun Little Movies.
