"Nokia has apparently made a marketing agreement with the Zi Corporation, which has a software called eZiText for mobile phones that is supposedly 300% faster than “traditional multi-tap.” I’ve got a feeling that Nokia just got tired of paying for T9’s predictive software and went for someone cheaper."This software looks pretty interesting. (Here's a
link to Zi Corps web site with a Flash Demo). It appears to be very similar to the new T9 included in Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Any reason why these text input companies don't make a version that can be downloaded an installed on your device? I would think that they would have more success if you didn't have to buy a new phone just to try out their input method.
