Default Treo 500 Unboxed

http://blog.treonauts.com/2007/09/treo-500-unboxe.html

"As promised Palm has sent me a brand new Treo 500 to review and I have to admit that I have not had the opportunity to be this excited about a new Treo in quite a while – it’s a very slick, slim and light smartphone that feels absolutely great in your hands and is surprisingly simple to use for a Windows Mobile non-touchscreen device."

I owned a 700wx Treo for several months and really liked it. This new incarnation looks promising to me. I like the slimmer form factor. I am looking forward to seeing more of it. I hope it finds its way to the states soon.

I dunno - seems kind of thick to me - .65"? I guess I don't see how Palm is distinguishing itself from the Q/BJ/Dash phones out there.

WAY more memory is a key part of the differences. Oh, and the cool new home screen is a nice plus as well.

It also lacks the touch screen that all other recent Treos have had. More entry level

lack of touch screen doesn't make it entry level.
