Default C|Net Reviews The MPx220 - Sort Of

http://reviews.cnet.com/Motorola_MPx220/4505-6452_7-30893927-2.html?tag=top

"We had high hopes for the MPx220, Motorola's follow-up to the popular MPx200. We're always excited when a product shows up promising so many fantastic things: Microsoft's Windows Mobile 2003 OS, Bluetooth, and Windows Media Player 10.0, just to name a few. We're pleased to say that after a few initial bumps (call quality was horrible until Motorola sent us another review unit), the MPx220 met most of our expectations. We liked the Cingular smart phone's PIM capabilities, Bluetooth support, and multimedia functions but found fault with the WAP Web browser and the syncing support. The handset is fairly priced at $399, but you should be able to find it at a discount with a service contract."

Windows Media Player 10? Ok, I don't know what C|Net is reviewing, but the MPx220 doesn't have WMP 10. William O'Neal, the author of the review, goes on to say that "the handset is essentially a Pocket PC device". If you're looking for a good detailed review of the MPx220 that you can trust, this isn't it. If you're looking for a second opinion, well then, maybe you can look at this review.

CNET review are always superficial.... stopped bothering with them at least a year ago... They say everything's good... it's all a pat on the back.

The at a glance needs some updating. The MPx220 has WMSP2003 SE which is a difference. Its a worthy choice but some features are less than perfect which is contradiction to me. I don't retrieve email on the go and its been perfect for me.
