Default Attend PDC, Learn Cool Stuff, Win a Smartphone

The 2003 "Microsoft Professional Developers Conference" is just around the corner and this is sure to be the most important developer conference in quite a while. The next versions of .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and even Windows are all central topics on the agenda. On top of those, the mobility track is looking pretty exciting. For example, here's the abstract for MBL317:

Windows Mobile Devices (Pocket PC and Smartphone): Platform Futures
With the release of Windows Mobile 2003 devices, Microsoft is now working on the future generation of Pocket PC and Smartphone devices. Come to this session to learn about the platform roadmap for the future versions of Pocket PC and Smartphone. See how these new devices will take advantage of new screen resolutions/orientations, graphics capabilities, MFC/ATL, etc. Also learn about changes in the underlying OS and APIs that developers will be able to program against.

New screen resolutions/orientations and graphics capabilities? Oh boy! Even non-developers should be excited about this one.

If the agenda isn't enough to convince you to register maybe this will do the trick - Microsoft is giving away 10 Smartphone Developer Kits to randomly selected attendees! Everyone who registers is automatically entered in the drawing.
