This is something, unfortunately, that I won't be able to test. HTC has had a pretty good history of battery life, though -- much better than Motorola, for sure. GPRS/EDGE also drains less power than 3G. After my quickie review, someone else on the team will likely do a much more detailed review, and I'm sure it'll be discussed.
