I'm Back! Did You Miss Me?

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been posting over the last week. I must apologize, as I should have posted a little news saying that I heading off on vacation for a week. Unfortunately, things got a little rushed, and that post never happened.

Alas, I am back. Thanks to the whole Smartphone Thoughts Team for stepping up and covering the news while I was gone. :way to go: In case you're interested, here's a couple highlights of my cottage vacation.

• Dug up the septic tank
• Cut down 3 trees, and trimmed 7 or 8 low hanging branches
• Burned my lower lip on a freak cooking accident :cry:
• Smashed my little toe into a large 4x4 post
• Smacked my head on a low beam so hard my teeth rattled
• Lost my emergency/backup cork-screw on the beach
• Snapped over 200 pictures 8)

That's just my short list. I'm sure there's more that I have managed to block from my memory. :lol: I will try and post a couple pictures in this thread later today.

This is on the beach in front of the cottage. Just a few short steps from the water. We spent a lot of time building sandcastles here. :wink:

Another amazing sunset at the cottage. I think we had 2 days where the sunset was not spectacular.


What's a trip to the cottage without a fire while you watch the moon set. (ya, you read that right.)


Another day, Another beautiful sunset. I love the reflection in the canoe.


And this is our "Batman" he decided to sleep in our patio umbrella one day. Scared the hell out of us when we opened it up and he fell out. He's still asleep in the picture. He didn't wake up until I kicked the chair a couple times. :lol:

Welcome back Mike - those are some great pictures. Sounds like your vacation was a bit more painful than it should have been though. ;-)

Thanks! I did an "auto-levels" on the second and third picture, and they now look even better. I'll have to re-upload them for everyone.
