Default ZuneVibe.com Gets Their Colorware Zune

http://zunevibe.blogspot.com/2007/06/colorwares-custom-zune-service-is.html

"I couldn't wait any longer. My FedEx tracking information from Colorware alerted me that my Zune was on the delivery truck and scheduled for drop-off sometime before 5pm. I heard the truck pull up in front of my house and I ran out onto the patio to meet the driver - I hope her feelings were not hurt because I may have ripped the box out of her hands with a bit too much excitement! When I opened the box all I could do is laugh out loud and cheer for several minutes. My Zune has been transformed into something mind blowing. The only way to describe the feeling I got at first sight of my Zune was like the time when I was 9 years old and seeing a Ferrari at a custom car show."

The folks over at ZuneVibe.com received their Colorware Zune, and man does it look good! I'm waiting to get mine back - it should be soon - and I'm sure I'll be just as eager as they were to rip open the box. The finish on this thing looks awesome...

Ok . . . it's now orange. Tells me quite a bit about the device itself when a color change elicits this kind of over-the-top excitement

this reminds me of the time i sent my old laptop in for a custom paint job. i was so excited when i got the laptop back i could barely contain myself!

if i was able to go a week or two without my zune, i would send it in but unfortunately i cannot. there is something to be said for custom paint jobs, just having something that is unique and different from the status quo is refreshing and exciting.

Thanks for the props kids!

I love my Zune - even if it was turd brown, like byteme's. I just got nailed a 'Fan boy' for this post on another site!

I'll tell you this - I wish I had a damn Zune-cam on the new Orange unit to show you the 'in the field' response this thing gets. I was in 2 airports yesterday [and one heinous layover] and it was the buzz of the concourse. If I had a briefcase full of Zunes yesterday I would have unloaded the whole lot from the all day demo's

Amazing what a pimp job does for.......well........ about anything
