Trying to use your G1 cradle with your Zune 80? Well it appears that the folks over at Zune Scene got a little ambitious with their cradle and pulled it apart. Chris Leckness over at Got Zune? gave it a shot and he was able to sync away! If you have a G1 cradle and want to keep on using it, head on over to check out how. I think I’ll just get the new cradle myself!

Hey, this is Chris from GotZune. Just an update on that cradle mod. It works fine, it's still a tight fit, but it's doable. The gen 2 cradle fits wonderfully, but the remote sucks... so if you can afford it, get the G2. I ended up doing that myself.

Yeah...it looked like a good hack if you really didn't want the new cradle...but other than that, I'd suggest the same thing.

I'm hearing that the gen1 remote still works with the gen2 base... Is this the best option?
