usb 2.0 problem with my zune? trouble syncing

I just got a 30GB zune. Whenever I try to sync my zune it would get to about 4% then it'll boot me out of the process and give me a message that says:

"Zune device is not responding" "Your zune device has not responded to the last command from the computer.

I could sync just fine when connected to my usb 1.1 port on the motherboard though. Its just that its slow and would like the speed of usb 2.0. My 30gb ipod uses the same 4 port usb 2.0 pci card and it works fine. the zune is running the latest software and has the newest 2.2 update. so whats the problem?
