VITO Technology is glad to announce a major update for its well-known recorder VITO AudioNotes. VITO AudioNotes v 1.2 offers new essential features to manage your voice notes and save your time either you use it for private or enterprise purposes.

With new version of VITO AudioNotes you can easily share your voice notes with friends and colleagues via email or mms messages. Not only can you create your voice notes right on the go but also immediately send them to anybody. You can finally forget about tedious typing and send voice messages practically from anywhere.

New feature quick record allows you to start recording with one hardware button press on PPC. The regular sequence of start-programs-AudioNotes-record is replaces with a single button press. Another feature that also saves your time is an option to delete all records altogether. Now VITO AudioNotes can automatically run upon every reset and stay in the background.

Other useful features suggested by our customers are sorting records by date or name and more informative file names for recordings. This greatly simplifies viewing a long list of records. Names of recordings include the phone number or the corresponding name from contacts (if it’s a phone call record) together with the date and time of record.

VITO AudioNotes has also been cured of some minor bugs that are listed at the product homepage on our website.

Konstantin,

Did you fix the rather serious bugs wherein you can't make outgoing calls and the data connection dies? No mention of this on your site nor your announcement here. If you did address these issues successfully I'd give 1.2 a try, if not then I won't.

How about updating your site and support forum with answers to this?

Okay, so I finally got up the courage to try vs. 1.2. I have to report that it's still a piece of sh*t. Vs. 1.2 still screws up data connections, it can not remember where to store recordings and so saves them to the phone memory instead of the storage card and I suspect, based on some weird incoming call behavior the it still interferes with calling abilities. I can't say for sure about this last item as I don't want to leave the app installed any further and so can't say conclusively.

I'll also comment on the almost total lack of support being offered in the Vito forum. If you report a problem they respond almost immediately with a request for your "alpha" tester experiences, but once past that they do not respond to any direct inquiries.

This is really a shame as I like what AudioNotes is supposed to do and I like the interface. But unfortunately their lack of quality control and customer support has led me to decide that I do not want to have anything further to do with them.

Oh, one last item. I've yet to hear of a single person having a positive experience with this product. Are there any of you out there? I usually like to keep things in perspective and assume that only the 2% that are having trouble report it in the various forums, but in this case I think an assumption if probably a bad idea.

Vito has been one disappointment after another. I have had a few issues with their applications. They never answered any of my emails. No more Vito applications for me.
