Default wmv video performance on tpcmp (and mp10)

I'm trying to get some videos to work well in full screen on my 2125. I started with the MP10 sync and wasn't satisfied with the postage stamp size. I used pocketdivxencoder as recommended and converted my avi and mpeg files and play them on tpcmp with great results.

But I have a bunch of wmv files that with full resolution (just drag and drop) play like stink on MP10 and are nearly completely still shots with audio on tcpmp.

Do you guys use some freeware to conver wmv files to avi? Or am I missing something else?

Anyone yet figure out the registry hacks so MP10 sync will convert to real full screen?

Thanks! --Bret

you could always rename the wmv files on your computer to avi and then just drag and drop them onto your smartphone. they should still play as wmv files even though they are named avi. no conversion on your PCs part.

you could also set up the PC to not convert wmv files that you want to copy onto your phone. im not sure exactly where the setting is but its there somewhere.
