T-Mobile Dash Crosses the Atlantic to Become the MDA Mail
"The T-Mobile Dash has been available in the USA for quite a while now, so it's good to see that it'll soon be available back in Europe as the T-Mobile MDA Mail. Made by HTC, it's known as the HTC Excalibur and comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 Megapixel camera, Stereo Bluetooth, quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GPRS/EDGE, MicroSD and WiFi. The T-Mobile MDA Mail will run Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone, so although there's always-on email etc, you'll not be able to edit Word / Excel documents on this device. There is though the innovative JOGGR strip on the side for easy navigation." Important details like the launch date and price are not available at this time, but the important thing is that our friends across the pond will soon be able to enjoy this wonderful device. I believe the Internet data plans are pretty pricey in Europe, which makes this device even more attractive for our European friends because the Wi-Fi works great on this device. 8)

No fair, Joggr bar looks cooler than ours...lol, hopefully HTC has learned from user input and corrected a few things, like the overly sensitive joggr bar, editing xt9, stuff like that. But it does look way cool!

I am thinking of taking a Sharpie and coloring the silver trim on my Dash black.
I agree, the black metal finish does look cool. Wonder why the Europeans get the black version? :? Moto launched the black MPx220 in Europe.

Is the metallic actually black or is it just a dark picture or the angle it was taken at? If it is black metallic I definitely like that better.

Not on T-Mobile or 3. I pay £7.50 (less than $15 inc. tax) a month for 2GB of HSDPA-loving data.

That's pretty good! Sometimes I think Canada is the last place in the world to get reasonable prices for data.

You will have no argument from me. Sad thing is: other than the CDMA version of the Q, none of these cool qwerty smartphones is available from our carriers here. I sometimes feel like we are the third world in terms of consumer electronics. :x
Anyway, I like the black dash better than the original!

A few years ago I never thought that the UK would have good data prices (it used to be around $5/MB!). Don't give up hope, it'll come eventually.

We can only hang on for so long...
Seriously, our prices suck. Rogers unlimited data isn't even unlimited - it's 200MB (I think) and it's $100 a month. Fido used to have an unlimited data for $50, but they've since pulled that and don't even show data prices on their site anymore. :?
