Q to be Launched May 22nd?
"Alright Q fans, we've got some good news for you. We've received word that Verizon and Motorola are holding a joint news conference in New York this May 22nd -- no, not May 22nd 2007, though we should qualify that -- to announce the Q. We know, wipe the look of shock off your face; we don't really have much more info to give you than that, but really, what more do you need? By this point you're either completely sick of hearing about this thing, or have some insane pent up urge to get one, so for the latter crowd: keep your eyes and ears tuned to May 22nd."  We have reported on this type of news so many times that our in-house Motorola News Analysis Expert, Jerry, refused to write up this post. :lol:

I just marked the date on my calendar though. So if it passes with no Q I can really write something up! Wasn't Q from a James Bond movie?

I don't know what to answer for this poll. I do care, it's a pretty nice phone. But I don't know that I trust the end of May as a shipping or availability date. :?

Well I have said it before and it still holds. If Cingular gets the Q I will get one. Moto gets one more shot at me! :lol:

well, for me, the Q will have to function flawlessing as a phone and a PDA before i even think about getting one.

Yes, unfortunately, "available" and "released" don't always mean you can actually get one. If they are "announcing" the Q on May 22nd, it can mean anything from being able to get it in stores immediately to still being a month or so away.
