Mitac Set To Release Mio 8870 In Netherlands

Mobile Gizmo just dropped us an email to pass along an anonymous tip they received; "The MIO 8870 smart phone is expected to be hit the market in Netherlands sometime this November."



This phone looks an awful lot like the Sagem myS-7 (you can see pictures of the Sagem here). Which really isn't too much of a surprise, since Mitac was contracted to build the Sagem. So it is very possible that they are planning to release a version under the Mio name.

The Windows Mobile Smartphone market just keeps growing. I love it.
