Default JP Mobile Announces SureWave Support for Motorola MPx220

http://www.jpmobile.com/press_releases/news-2004-11-09.asp

"JP Mobile®, a leading provider of enterprise mobility software, today announced that the company's SureWave Mobile Office solution is now available on Motorola MPx and MPx220 mobile devices powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile platform. With SureWave Mobile Office, enterprise customers can automatically receive new e-mail messages and calendar items in real-time via IP push to the device. SureWave also provides advanced on-device and transport level security. The SureWave platform, based on open standards, leverages the native Pocket Outlook client, providing end users with a familiar and easy-to-use interface. In addition to e-mail and PIM applications, SureWave enterprise customers also can securely access corporate data from ERP, SFA, FFA, and CRM applications."

How can they announce support for a device that's not even on the market yet? The latest reports have the MPx release date as Q1 next year. :?

[Off topic info] Today morning, I was watching CNBC (business news channel) and Gary Krakow the tech guy from MSNBC was on it, and was talking about the cool cell phones about to hit the market or on the market. On was BlackBerry 7100, another one was Nokia with TV (which I ignored:-)) and then he talked about MPx. Said that MPx is launching this year and will sell for $500-$600 range. And he was showing off the shiney MPx to the news presenters who were totally floored by the dual hinge.
