HTC S621 (Excalibur) Arrives in Canada with Rogers Wireless

While it's true that it's listed on their website and you can view it right now. I can't seem to be able to browse to it. I'm thinking the official launch is still a couple days away. Regardless, it's nice to see Rogers pick up a new hot device like the Excalibur and get it out on their network inside of 6 months from the actual device release date. Unfortuantely, it's listed as a Windows Mobile 5 device. I sure hope that they plan to release an upgrade for it - but I wouldn't count on it. If anyone manages to buy this, please let us know!

Needless to say, though, they've gone an awfully loooooong time without getting any new Windows Mobile devices.

This is the first Windows Mobile 5 smartphone offering from Rogers, almost two years after WM 5 was launched. Pretty pathetic, isn't it? Well, better late than never.
