My guess, is that this would be the new ROM, since it is marked as shipping in 1 - 2 weeks. But that's only a guess.

Well, not quite for sale I guess. If you try to add the non-contract price phone to your cart on the right side of the page, it does not add it to your cart!

If you use the regular link and add it to your cart then proceed to selecting a plan, there is a link that says "buy this phone without a service plan". If you follow that link, it says "This item is not stocked or has been discontinued." So it looks like they aren't offering it without a service plan at this time.

I am posting all over the same message. Hold still and don't do anything until we see how this all unfolds. I ran out and bought my 220 from BB. Much as I like it I should have waited.

I know its tough, but you can do it! Don't go into the light!!!!

If there is no intent to sell it without a contract its very deceptive then!

Oh, I agree. I'm hoping it's just a glitch with the new posting and that things will be resolved in the very near future.

Also I believe we don't know if this one is unlocked or not. The $399 price is cheaper than the Best Buy price of $500.

And for some reason it is not available for my zipcode. :-( Glad that I already own one.

One of the big points of the mpx220 is the quad band world phone ability. Which means they have to leave it unlocked, or its not a world phone.
