56% Increase in Profits for i-mate

"In its first year of trading as a listed company on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange, i-mate™, the Dubai headquartered specialist in Windows Mobile® hardware and software solutions and services, has posted profits before tax of USD $22.5 million for the year ending 31st March, 2006. Profit increased by 56 per cent against USD $14.3 million in 2005, while sales increased to USD $206 million, a rise of 51 per cent. Gross profit margins were 24.1 per cent."



Go i-mate, Go! I'm pretty impressed with the job that i-mate is doing. Their devices are solid (thanks to HTC), and their support is also top-notch. It will be interesting to see how big they can grow without joining forces with a mobile operator.
