After years of speculation and a couple spy shots of devices, HP has just announced an iPAQ Voice Messenger device based on Windows Mobile 6 Standard (previously known as Smartphone edition). We don’t have all the details of this hot new device, but we do know that it has Bluetooth, WiFi, a 1.3MP camera, and Windows Mobile 6 Standard. We’ll post more details of this device as they roll in, but for now you can enjoy the snazzy press photo along with a couple more device shots. Remember to click on the image to see a full sized version. Let us know what you think of HP’s entry into the Smartphone arena!
Update: I've got the details on specs for this device. It will be a quad-band GSM/EDGE device running a TI OMAP 850 200MHz processor, 64/128 MB RAM/ROM, WiFi (b/g), MicroSD, Bluetooth 1.2, 1100 maH battery for 6.4 hours of talk, and a small 176x220 display.

If the screen resolution hasn't turned you off, then you'll also want to hear more about HP's special Voice Commander software that comes pre-loaded and more than 20 voice commands. You can read about that on
