Default Sprite Archie Solution Provides Data Management for SMS Messages

http://www.spritesoftware.com/store...products_id=201

"Sprite Mobile Inc. today announced the launch of Sprite Archie – a new solution that allows users or administrators to archive incoming and outgoing SMS messages and call history information on Windows Mobile phones via email. Sprite Archie monitors SMS and call activity and archives the messaging or call data to email either immediately or on a daily or weekly schedule. “Email is the universally practical way to manage SMS messaging. In addition to the convenience of being able to use an email application to file or search SMS messages, corporate customers benefit because email is managed as part of IT data retention policy”, said Sean Connolly, Chief Executive Officer of Sprite Mobile Inc. Sprite Archie offers a “set-and-forget” solution to ensure that SMS messages are archived off the phone where they can be later retrieved or searched. After installation, the email account and archive options for incoming and outgoing SMS messages and call history are set, and then the application runs in the background – no further user intervention is required. When users are moving to a different phone, the entire SMS and call history data can be exported to email or file."

Sprite has announced the release of its latest software solution for backing up SMS messages and Call History. The choice of export file formats - text, csv or xml, makes this software a good choice for folks who are looking for an SMS backup solution. The software retails for $14.95 and the trial version is also available.

Send a message via MSN to baralong

Looks good, but the PIM Backup http://www.dotfred.net/ is pretty good. I've been using it for a while now and I've had no problems. You can even export to a text format and scan the messages off line.
