I stopped by AmazingGames.com, the developers who created Chopper Alley, and they have a short video clip of their new game Speedway Jam!, and it looks like it's been optimized for the Smartphone. They also have a description about their physics engine:

"Real physics makes everything behave like in real life. A car with rear wheel drive behaves very differently compared to one with front wheel drive. Tires on ice behave very differently compared to tires on gravel. The weight shift that takes place when a car accelerates will temporarily make it understeer. The size and shape of an object defines the amount of air resistance. A propeller has mass and inertia of its own, and might have the power to flip the entire airplane around if a sudden acceleration is performed. Just like in real life. Things fall to the ground and bounce back up - or get squashed. Just like in real life.
