Sick of Getting Lost in the Subway, Get Metro for your Smartphone
"Métro finds your way in public transport systems in more than 300 cities around the world (Paris, New York, London, Tokyo, any city with a subway & many more!). Many more features to discover: Directions and informations to major tourist attractions (in selected cities), Take only the cities you need on your PocketPC, Easy station search" Ok, I'm sure they meant to say "Take only the cities you need on your Smartphone". Metro is another free application that is available from our affiliate store. Who doesn't like free?

Where was this application when I visited NYC?
We had a tough time figuring out the subway system and finding the closest station and the best route. I am sure this FREE application would have helped a lot.

Orange has a free Transport for London tube map....
You can download via the Orange World site a Transport for London Tube map, which also has a journey planner. This is a JAVA application and it works quite well I think.
Transport for London also has a mobile version of its Journey Planner ( http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/use...T2?language=en) I use it loads to find buses and the like..!

Hasn't it been around for sometime? I recall using it on the MPx200 last year!

Looks good, and a great price of course.
Funny thing: I can get the Melbourne database (and Perth), but not Sydney (or Brisbane). Their info pages list Sydney and Brisbane as well. Does anyone else find trouble with specific cities?
Living between Melb & Syd makes them more useful to me than Paris, strange to say.

I know the Pocket PC version has been around for years. I had it installed on my iPaq 3670.
