I am not one to slam any company... and anyone can have horrible experiences. However... this is one company that leaves me simply with a dumbfounded expression and amazement that they can remain in business. I will not say anymore about this.

Also... Unicode is not a part of their support (despite OS X being a true unicode operating system).

Ok....

First, I have no affiliation with the developer of this product. Second, I don't even own a Mac, and I'm happy about that. :wink:

I posted on this application to help any Mac users out there that might be having dreams of sync'ing there device. Feel free to suggest another application or offer advice for others to watch out for when using this product.

What would anyone have to say about trying to sync the same smartphone with a PC (at home) and a MAC (at work)?

Mike, please... do not let my "caution" be discouragement. The company's products are mentioned everywhere this subject is brought up.

The only other player in the market is Missing Sync, which I find to be a much nicer product... and most important is the tech support people are responsive and have a positive outlook on making the product better. It has some unicode problems, but they are looking into this.

By the way, I have been a heavy 386 / MS user for a VERY long time. I know the company very well and really appreciate all that they have done and can do. However, I am switching to OS X because of the great experience it gives. Just a choice.

JR: If you can get dual sync profiles on the Pocket PC, then I do not see why it would be a problem. I have not tried it out... but if I do I will let you know. As it stands I am looking into making my own sync software since so few make what I would call a "Good" application for this (on any platform).

Responsive tech support is a big thing. I was evaluating some (unrelated) software a while back and had problems with demo versions and got no response from the tech support people. If they had just responded to my email and told me yes or no, I would have purchased the application for approximently $700 US. However, they ignored my initial email and my 2 follow up emails. I didn't want to deal with a company that would ignore it's customers, so I went hunting for another application. I found something I consider 10 times better, for a fraction of the price and support is amazing.
