Default Freeware Sudoku From Smoresoft

http://www.smoresoft.com/sudoku/

User submitted image

Smoresoft has released a pretty nice looking freeware version of Sudoku for the Smartphone. It features support for low and high resolution devices, along with square screen support, pencil marks (multiple styles), create your own puzzles, and auto-save. It also runs on Windows Mobile 2003 and 5.0 based devices.

So let's see, that makes 2176 versions of Sudoku out there?

Oh no....
Oh no, oh no, oh no.

This is not what I need during finals week. :P

I've installed a couple of Pocket PC trial versions of Sudoku before, but never got the hang of it, and didn't want to spend money on a game. But when I saw that this version was free.... well, let's say I think I get the hang of the game now, and it is as addicting as people say it is. Well, back to studying.... er... right....

I've tried about a half-dozen versions, and this is, by far, the best for people who play frequently. It's missing a hint system and an auto-pencil system, but the screen is by far the most readable, other than Sensible Sudoku, but it is much easier to use than Sensible. Plus, the author seems responsive to feedback.

Check this one (Smoresoft) out if you get a chance. The developer has put out several meaningful releases over the last few weeks:

I haven't found a better free Sudoku, and it works better than most of the shareware versions out there.

Copy it to your Smartphone, and execute it.

Sweet, I was introduced to this on an airport layover and have been thinking of getting some more. I spent hours on this stuff...I like numbers. :-)
