Default Finally! Multiple Email Accounts with Sunnysoft MailCenter 1.0

"Sunnysoft MailCenter v1.0 is our brand new application for Smartphone users. If you are one of them you have probably noticed that it is impossible to manage more email accounts in the standard Microsoft's Inbox. And that is why our Sunnysoft MailCenter entered the market. It will enable you to define and manage unlimited number of email accounts, either individually or altogether. Sunnysoft Mail Center enables you to create and manage unlimited number of POP3/IMAP4 email accounts. Main features:

• Individual folders are created for each account.
• Acces to the original account with ActiveSync and messages.
• Individual or en masse sending of messages.
• E-mails can be sorted out by standard parametres.
• Data can be stored in any folder.
• Receiving, saving and sending of attachments is supported.
• Deleting of emails support.
• Font changes are enabled.
• Possibility to delete or leave the email on server.
• Download of header/complete email/part of email supported.
• All types of connection incl. ActiveSync"

Words can't express how excited I am about this software! My Smartphone has been hobbled by the single-Inbox limitation, and now it's going to have wings with this new software from Sunnysoft. I'm so excited about it I bought a copy right away instead of asking for a media evaluation copy like I normally do. I hope it lives up to my expectations! Download it and tell me what you think! UPDATE: Grr. I guess I should have tried it first - Sunnysoft didn't sign their application, so it won't work on my phone. <sigh> :?

Why don't you unlock your smartphone? Not every company can afford to buy the certificate or have its apps signed by Microsoft and its friendly companies who have big bizz in signing and approving applications..:-)
I think MailCenter is quite useful for Smartphone users

Well, if you look at the next post, I'm having a hard time getting it unlocked - Orange's OTA system isn't working for me.

From what I've seen, it's pretty cheap to get an application signed. I'm not talking about the Mobile2Market certification, just the signing. And when you consider that the vast majority of the Smartphones in the market right now ARE locked, Sunnysoft is shutting themselves out of a big slice of potential revenue.

Regardless, an application listing in Smartphone.net should indicate whether or not it's signed - a customer shouldn't have to GUESS.

This mail thing crashed my phone twice - that qualifies it for an uninstall. Shame.

I have installed this software on my SPVx without any problem. This email client is so great to help me retrieve emails to my Smartphone.

The retrieval of emails works flawlessly, except some freeze through GPRS connection (no freeze at all on pass through connection).

However, there're certain things I really wish this software could offer.

- URL contained in email contents should be clickable.
- Each account should allow for scheduled retrieval.

Cheers.

Default MailCenter Rocks

I installed Sunnysoft MailCenter v1.0 on my i-mate and dude, this puppy is everything I have wanted.

It lets me delete ALL my email from one menu itme (unlike Msft's two keystrokes to delete just ONE message).

It presents headers like a real email program should with all the details.

If the phone crashes it does not lose its settings like Msft's email.

It does multiple email accounts beautifully.

It displays numbers in front of the menus so you know what to press.

It lets you access and sort folders very nicely.

...and much more.

Things I miss.

Doesn't seem to display images (I get the red x missing image frame). ...or am I missing something :?

Doesn't report its sending or receiving for a long time and the progress is a tiny number. A progress bar would have been neat.

The fonts are way too small for this old cogger.

It doesn't delete messages on the server (even though the Leave message on server box is unchecked).
