Filtering on Outlook Category.

Active Sync no longer filters on Outlook Category.

I have a load of stuff in Outlook that I don't want on my SPV C600 phone.

Does anyone provide - or is anyone intending to provide - a programme which will interface with Active Sync as a filter.

This could be on the PC or in the phone.

Or does anyone know of another simple way to do it from within Outlook?

Some people have switched to folders. You can sort items into folders and then tell ActiveSync to only sync the folder you want.

For contacts, I think it only sync's the root level, so you can put everything else in a subfolder. Does that help?

Thanx for that, Mike.

I'll have a look at it, but having to change my way of working to suit changes in my telephone software doesn't fill me with joy and goodwill to the supplier.
