There is no Palm Reader (Peanut Press) yet. Try e-mailing them and adding your name to the list of people that want to read on their Smartphones.

Right now I know of two readers, Mobipocket (here or here) and Tiny eBook Reader (here or here).

There is also Orneta Reader as well as the option to read ANY type of document by saving it in Repligo format....or even ClearVue.

Town Compass is the only one that I know of. You can find in at Handango for about 5 bucks for the old and new testaments each. Puts it in a DB format.

You could also download a TXT version on any free ebook site, then use TinyReader to read it and set bookmarks for each book. You can even save the file zipped. TinyReader will read it within a zip file.

Olive Tree is working on a SmartPhone version of their Bible Reader software and has a beta available for download, but it is still rather buggy.

What I ended up doing was buying a Bible in Microsoft Reader format from Amazon.com, using C-Lit to convert it to the OEB sources, and then using MobiPocket Publisher to create a Bible in Mobipocket format for my personal use after a little clean-up of the HTML in the source files. It works fairly well, links to each book, then each book has links to chapters, and then from the beginning of the chapter just scroll down to the verse you want. It's turned out to actually be quicker than punching in references in Bible Reader or MyBible on my Palm.

Interesting... thanks. I'll have to look into that when I get my Smartphone.
