Don't Forget! Reminding Software
"DontForget is easy-to-use and highly customizable Windows Mobile application that can repeatedly remind you of unread SMS text messages, unread MMS multimedia messages, missed calls, unread E-mails and missed calendar events by sound, vibration, notification window or hardware LED. But it is not just an extension for Windows Mobile operating systems which should already be present and preinstalled by the operating system. DontForget also can do much more. You can also schedule to automatically switch your device to certain profile, switch to the Flight-mode or switch the device completelly off in given time of deactivation and much more. You also can handle or disable standard „on-air“ LED blinking also on devices (like HTC clones) where the LEDs are controled on hardware level. And finally, by purchasing the license you automatically get technical support, upgrades and future enhancements and the income is used to contribute to special school for sightless children."
Programs like these are making it harder and harder for me to come up with excuses why I'm late or why I forgot something. This particular reminding software has many features to help put your mind at ease. From switching profiles to reminding you of just about anything, Don't Forget should be able to see you through. You can download a trial from their site or choose to buy a license for $14, Hey, that's cheaper than a bottle of Ginkoba!

I'm in the same boat you are, but now my excuse is that large price tag
Just kidding!
This looks pretty neat, have you tried it out yet? If anyone has, I would love to know how well it works

I have been using this forever......with it's various updates, now with my BJ1. The best simple reminder program I have come across. It'll do more, like switch profiles at a set time, or run a program, etc, etc, if you want it to. Hujer has done a great job. Unfortunately it's no longer freeware, which I understand. But, $14.00 is a bit steep......even if a portion of that is to help the blind.

I tried the trial version of CT scheduler today because I am interested in a program that lets me put the phone in different profiles depending on a schedule I set. I was disappointed that the CT trial only has one option selectable, and that is the "once" option. I expected to see a "Set this Profile from Time A until Time B" type of interface. I un-installed it. If I can't see the FULL functionality of a program, I won't buy it. I am downloading the trial version of DontForget, hope it is a full version.
Has anyone used both CT Scheduler and DontForget?
If so, can you share any opinions on one versus the other?
Thanks,
~Rob

This has been out for 2-3 years. Is this a new upgrade?

Doesn't get along with my BJ II
looked really nice, but the trial version drove my BJ II nuts
When an alarm sounded it set off about 3 minutes or more of vibration, no matter what settings I used (in 'Normal' Profile). I sometimes had to pull the battery to keep it from shaking itself to death! Oh, a really horrible sound also emitted from the speakers, making the whole thing annoying to frightening!
I have to admit, though, it was impossible to forget !
Maybe an updated version will work for the BJ II, but for now, I'm passin' on it!

Read the description notice:
In general, all LED options/features are device specific and may not work on all devices. The best practise is to try it on your device. Also note, some devices (like Samsung Blackjack) doesn't have main signalization LED (used for GSM state signalling) and you have to NOT enable any of the LED related options in the DontForget othewise your device will continually vibrate. If this happens, switch all LED related option to OFF.
Just try to switch all LED related options to off and try again and give us the feedback.

New version available, DontForget updated to 2.55
This maintanance version fixes some issues and bugs reported by users. E.g.
• Sound player module was rewritten. Known ugly knack/crack at the and of the reminder sound is gone. Also the problem playing some WAV file should be fixed now.
• Problem with sound volume fixed.
More info and download you can find here: DontForget - Newsletter
