Default All-Backup From All-Locations

http://www.handango.com/affiliate/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?programId=45&affiliateId=690&productId=121882

"A Smartphone can crash in such a way, that you need to hard reset it. The Smartphone goes back to ''factory settings'', which means that you loose everything you installed on your Smartphone! To prevent the loss of data in this situation you can use ALL-backup to make a backup copy of all files on your Smartphone and restore this copy at a later time for data recovery. Not only will ALL-backup recover lost files in this way, it will also configure your Smartphone again. It will restore your GPRS settings, owner information and even your home screen layout. After a restore you can use almost all installed applications again instantly!"

There is no mention of this being a signed application. So those of you waiting for a way to backup your application locked Smartphone will still have to wait. You can download a trial version or purchase this application for $19.95 here. [Affiliate]

According to their website the program doesn't back up Calendar, Contacts, Task and Inbox. This is pretty disappointing to me. No way to restore my contacts if I loose them while on a business trip. I'll pass on this program.

It just froze up during the backup process on my i600. After several attempts. I deleted it.

I never thought this solution would work on your phone. I'm surprised that you where able to install it. I would hazard a guess that the hanging is somehow linked to the application lock.

I'm sure you are right about that. However it does list the i600 on Handango's site for it. It does install with no problems but then again so did the sprite backup program.

Well after i uninstalled this "Backup" software my phone locked up and hard reset. Of course because it didnt work in the first place there was no backup I could restore with. Now I get to reinstall everything. Great program!

Won't backup contacts, calendar, tasks and notes?! What's the point? What a waste. And Sprite won't work on the i600. Not a great week for smartphone backup programs.
