Default A Visual Comparison Between the Voq Professional and Audiovo

The Voq Professional is your only choice if you want a Windows Mobile Smartphone with a Qwerty keyboard. Although some may feel that it falls short when it comes to things like Bluetooth, size, and weight. However, it can't be touched when it comes to data input. If Sierra could reduce the size a little, I would be all over the Voq. Maybe we'll see a smaller version in the future.

A friend of mine dropped by yesterday with his Voq, so I snapped a couple pictures to show off the size difference between the two devices. There is no surprise here, since we are comparing the smallest Smartphone with the largest one, but the pictures are pretty interesting none the less.

And in case you're wondering; here's a link to my hands-on review with the Voq 9 months ago. It has pictures with the Voq and my old Tanager Smartphone.

Mike, you are brave. You put the SMT5600 beside the Voq. What if the Voq had accidently flipped, it might have crushed your SMT5600 with its weight.

Despite it's size, It actually feels good in your hand. Your pocket is another story.

If Sierra could make the Voq smaller - like E200 size or less, and add Bluetooth, I would buy one. For me, size matters, and this is just too much for me to carry around.

Mike--what's the homescreen you have on the 5600?

I was going to say you're being awfully unfair to the Voq by comparing it to the tiniest phones. I've held the Voq, and my first thought was "Hey! That's not really that large." It's like the previous generation candybar phones.

This comparison is more of an apples to oranges type thing, since the two phones have so many different features.

The Voq is still larger than the E200 line of Smartphones (check the link at the bottom of the above post for a couple pictures comparing the two). However, I do agree with you. It feels good in your hand, and is a very functional phone. It's just too large for me.

Thats because it looks and feels like a TV remote :P

Honestly, I like my Voq more then my SMT 5600 (and way more then the MPx 220) because I don't feel like the voq is going to break if I squeeze it too hard. It fits nicely into my side pocket of my carpenter pants and its a snap to use it as a modem while on the road.
