Default Orange SPV E650 (HTC Vox) Goes on Sale in the UK and is Already Out of Stock

Orange is now selling the re-branded HTC Vox as the Orange SPV E650 in the UK. The wait for our friends across the pond is over, well almost over. The first Windows Mobile 6 standard edition device and the first standard slider-QWERTY is now sale, but it is already out of stock. The form-factor and the feature set makes this handset one of the best smart phones in the market. If you managed to get your hands on one or getting one soon, we would like to hear your thoughts and comments.

I'm not surprised. This phone is going to be hot. If you like it without actually have held one, you're going to go nuts once you get your hands on it. It's a pretty slick unit.

Too bad I couldn't just buy this phone in the US. From what I have seen, it will cost about $600 to acquire in the US. If my math is correct and the currency conversion accurate, I can get the phone for 30GBP and then pay 20GBP for 12 months for a total of 270 pounds. That one year committment is basically about $541 USD. That is the same or less than what it would be to purchase the phone here but I could make monthly payments instead. Will Orange sell to someone in the US?

Expansys or Mobile Planet has it listed as $494. That's a pretty reasonable price if you ask me. Heck, I'm starting to think I should order one....

You can grab it for 350€ here in Germany, that's about 475 $. Worth a nice price.
