Orange C500 Now Free with Contract
I was looking up the C500 to link to for another post, and I see that it's now free with a monthly contract - that sure didn't take long! The C500 is the phone I've been using for the past couple of months, and it's an amazing phone. So if you live in the network area that Orange services and are looking for a new phone, I can certainly recommend it.

That's great news. I'm surprised at how fast this phone has moved around the globe, and the price just keeps getting better. I've said it before, and I will again, HTC has a real winner with this model.

It has always been free in the UK on the Orange Network since Wednesday 18th August when it was available in stores.
Free that is if you sign up to a £25 or more a month yearly contract. And it must be a £25+ voice plan, data can't be added to a lesser contract to reach £25. If you go on a £15 a month contract the phone is £79.99.

Hrm, now that you mention it, that sounds somewhat familiar. :? I guess what's really sad, is that I'm happy to hear the news, only to find out I've heard it before. 8O

New pay as you go pricing!
Also - £149 on Pay as you go from this month, and online unlocking is available for £20.
I bought one yesterday and unlocked it this morning.

I have tried to get hold of one from orange for the past two weekends. Hopefully I'll manage it this weekend.

I just saw this in the shop today - I got it free on contract, planning to go PAYG after the 12 months. Ah well, it's worth the money.
To think that a year ago I was going to get the SE P800 ON CONTRACT for £150 (then £25/month) - I'm glad now that I failed the credit check! At the time, tho, I was miffed... ops:

£149 is a great price for this phone on PAYG. You get another £10 off if you trade in an old phone. I am seriously thinking about it now.
