Motorola Q Pro? Alright. So, what's the Q Pro offer that makes it better than a regular Q? How about a 512MB miniSD card included. If you're still not excited, then I don't think you will be about the rest of the stuff. It's all aimed at making corporate deployments easier. The Q Pro has the option to disable the camera, and even have the device pre-loaded with your corporate applications and sent directly to the end user. Perhaps I've missed something in the specs - at least I hope I did. :?

This time I will have commend Motorola for taking the right steps to sway the business customers. I don't know how good the encryption and security is on the Q Pro. But this is exactly what the enterprise customers are asking for. BlackBerry offers encryption of data on the device and the latest Pearl allows the camera to be disabled remotely by the enterprise admin.

Windows Mobile (Smartphone) does a lot of cool stuff but this closes the gap even further.

Doesn't mean cr@p to the typical security guard. Rule says no photographic gear...that's a lens...go put back it in your car.

Default DOcs2Go!

If you dig a little deeper, the real gem in this version is that it supports editting of Word documents. Turns out that Dataviz, developer of the Documents 2 Go Office Suite that is a favorite on the Palm OS, has been busy porting a version over to WinMob Smartphone:

And what is with the cheesy blue color for the Motorola logo on the earpiece? :? Did they forget to take the protective film off for the photo shoot or what.

Sven, I agree having the lens does not really help and the guards will not like it. But it is the least the mobile manufacturer can offer to companies that buys Smartphones for their own employees.

Oh... Interesting. I just figured that was another Office Mobile mistake like we have seen so many times.

That would actually be a worthwhile addition. However it looks like you can get it for other Smartphones so it does nothing to set the Q apart.
